Job summary

FLINT Corp. is seeking a seasoned Payroll Administrator to handle weekly payroll for employees and contractors in Calgary or Edmonton. You will ensure accurate processing, compliance with federal and provincial rules, and timely reporting to the Payroll Manager.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, timely problem solving, and strong relations with employees and leadership to support efficient payroll operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive payroll experience in computerized environments.
• Canadian payroll legislation and taxation knowledge required.
• Experience with union payroll is an asset.
• UKG and IFS experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Administer and process union and non-union weekly payroll with accurate payments.
• Ensure compliance with federal and provincial payroll legislation and company policy.
• Prepare payroll filings, ROEs, and year-end tax documents as required.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with confidentiality and accuracy.
