Qualifications

Position: Payroll Administrator

Reporting to the Director of Finance, your responsibilities as the Payroll Administrator will include:

  1. Processing bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and quarterly salary and commission payrolls using QuickBooks and ADP Workforce.
  2. Processing new hires and terminations using QuickBooks and ADP.
  3. Preparation of Employee Records of Employment in accordance with Employment Standards Act and Service Canada.
  4. Responding to payroll inquiries from employees.
  5. Performing other payroll duties as assigned.
Requirements

About You:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience preparing payrolls and commissions.
  2. CPA certification or in the process of obtaining it.
  3. Experience using QuickBooks and ADP Workforce Now.
  4. Comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Employment Standards Act, Federal and Provincial Tax Regulations.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
  6. Superb attention to detail.
  7. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
