Job summary

Independent Grocers Alliance in Canada is seeking a pastry chef-decorator for the bakery. Part-time role with 15–20 hours per week, offering day and evening shifts. Availability anytime is preferred to cover peak periods.

You'll decorate cakes, respond to customers' requests, and help promote freshness and presentation. Training opportunities are provided to develop your skills within a supportive team.

As a pastry chef-decorator, you will have to :

• respond to customers' needs and special requests by providing quality products that exceed their expectations;
• promote sales in the bakery department by innovating and ensuring exceptional product variety and freshness;
• plan production efficiently to produce a quantity that meets the needs of the establishment;
• plan and control dry goods and perishable purchases to optimize quality, product production and profits.
