Colonial Group in Saanichton, BC is seeking a Parts Technician to join our parts team. You will work with technicians, customers, and suppliers to ensure the right parts are available when needed, supporting service operations and keeping customers on the road.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Parts Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of truck, trailer, and equipment parts.
• Experience in a dealership, fleet, or repair environment.
• Proficiency with inventory management and dealership software systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts and shipments.
• Source, quote, and supply truck and trailer parts.
• Support service technicians with parts identification and availability.
• Process customer orders, returns, exchanges, and warranty claims.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and stock management.
• Coordinate parts transfers and deliveries as required.
• Provide prompt and professional customer service by phone, email, and in person.
• Ensure parts are properly stored, labeled, and organized.
• Keep customers and technicians informed on order status and availability.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts department.
• Support other departmental needs and special projects as assigned.
