Velocity Truck Centres is seeking a Parts Technician to join our team in Saanichton, BC. The role focuses on ensuring the right parts are available for technicians and customers, while maintaining accurate inventory and efficient supply processes.

You will work with technicians, customers, and suppliers to source, quote, and deliver truck and trailer parts, support orders, and provide friendly, professional service in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Parts Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of truck, trailer, and equipment parts.
• Experience in a dealership, fleet, or repair environment.
• Proficiency with inventory management and dealership software systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.

Responsabilités

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts and shipments.
• Source, quote, and supply truck and trailer parts.
• Support service technicians with parts identification and availability.
• Process customer orders, returns, exchanges, and warranty claims.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and stock management.
• Coordinate parts transfers and deliveries as required.
• Provide prompt and professional customer service by phone, email, and in person.
• Ensure parts are properly stored, labeled, and organized.
• Keep customers and technicians informed on order status and availability.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts department.
• Support other departmental needs and special projects as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Red Seal Parts Technician Certification
• Previous dealership experience
• Experience interpreting parts catalogues, schematics, and technical diagrams

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting and carrying of parts
• Prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing as required
