Job summary

Techo-Bloc Inc. is seeking a hands-on Parts Store Clerk to support production by receiving, validating, and organizing parts. You’ll work with ERP (AX) to ensure accurate deliveries, maintain clean inventory, and coordinate with suppliers for repairs and returns.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and bilingual English proficiency. Day shift, forklift operation, and collaboration with maintenance and procurement are essential to success in our North American

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a warehouse clerk.
  • Experience with an ERP system.
  • Strong sense of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual in English is required to service customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and validating goods in the ERP.
  • Verify deliveries against PO and drawings (quantity, specs).
  • Warehouse organization, labeling, and inventory management.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions and coordinate with suppliers.
  • Respond to internal departments for part searches and returns.
  • Operate forklift for inbound/outbound material.

Job Description

Day Shift:Monday to Friday 8AM to 5PM

The Parts store clerk plays a key role in the performance of our manufacturing operations. Acting as a vital link between production, maintenance, and procurement, this person ensures that every spare part and component is available at the right time and in the right place. Their work directly contributes to smooth production flow and reliable equipment uptime.

Main Responsibilities

Receiving and validating goods

Perform the physical and system-based reception of parts in the ERP (Microsoft Dynamics AX).

Verify the conformity of deliveries according to purchase orders and technical drawings (quantity, dimensions, specifications).

Warehouse organization and inventory management

Maintain a structured, clean, and safe work environment.

Ensure proper identification, labeling, and classification of all parts.

Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to guarantee uninterrupted supply.

Procurement and supplier coordination

Prepare purchase requisitions and quotation requests for standard or custom parts.

Coordinate with suppliers for repairs, returns, and delivery follow-ups.

Inspect repaired or newly received parts for compliance with specifications.

Internal operations support

Respond to internal departments for part searches, distribution of parts, and returns.

Prepare boxes and kits required for weekly or annual maintenance shutdowns.

Inventory control and continuous improvement

Conduct weekly cycle counts and participate in the annual physical inventory.

Contribute to the optimization of stock management and traceability processes.

Operate a forklift to safely receive, handle, and store parts.

Other related duties

Collaborate closely with maintenance, production, and procurement teams.

Actively participate in the company’s quality and continuous improvement culture.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3years experience as a warehouse clerk;
  • Experience with a Enterprise Resource Planning system(ERP);
  • Strong sense of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail. (multitasking environment);
  • Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic parts;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Good physical ability;
  • Bilingual (English is required in order to service our customers and suppliers based in the United States and outside Quebec);
  • Forklift certification, an asset.

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
