Job summary

Sandvik Mining is seeking a Parts and Services Sales Representative for the Greater Sudbury, ON area. You will promote and sell our parts and services to a defined customer base, aiming to achieve revenue targets while growing existing accounts.

The role involves analyzing customer fleets, identifying opportunities, and coordinating with customers on aftermarket issues to ensure timely resolutions. Local travel up to 50% is required, with a strong customer-service focus and CRM usage.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or two-year college diploma.
• 4+ years of technical knowledge in heavy equipment/mining; sales experience preferred.
• Experience with Sandvik products would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales of products and services to customers in the assigned territory.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and forecast parts demand.
• Analyze fleet to identify sales opportunities and grow accounts.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and pursue new ones.
• Coordinate with customers and Sandvik on aftermarket issues to resolve issues promptly.

So now we challenge you to take it one step further and apply!What you will be doingManage sales of products and services to small and medium sized customers within an assigned geographical territory.Responsible for achievement of agreed targets.Perform gap analysis on existing fleet to identify sales opportunities.Retain and grow business with existing customers and generate sales from new customers.To anticipate and understand customer needs and match them with our product offering to maximize customer value and sales profit.Pursue sales leads; visit existing and new customers who may be of strategic importance to the organization; assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services; respond to more complex customer enquiries; negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.To collect and communicate relevant business and market intelligence to product and sales management by using the applicable systems.Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met.Predictive parts forecasting through analysing customer mobile equipment maintenance strategy and planning to ensure parts availability meets customer demand and expectation.Liases between customer and Sandvik on aftermarket issues to ensure all issues are settled in a timely manner.Environmental Health and SafetyWe are ethical and compliant, dedicated to health, safety, and sustainability.
