Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Parts Person for our Saskatoon Construction and Forestry location. You will assist customers in finding the right parts, provide pricing information, and process online orders while supporting warehouse operations.

The role reports to the Parts Manager and requires collaboration to deliver optimal results for customers. The position emphasizes inventory duties and efficient warehouse practices to bolster the Parts Business across our network, with a strong focus on accuracy

Qualifications

• Ability to meet physical demands of parts/warehousing work.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build lasting partnerships with customers.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Journeyperson certification is an asset; prior parts industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive, and store incoming parts and materials.
• Locate parts and ship to customers and branches; assist service technicians as needed.
• Place inventory stock orders and make bin/inventory adjustments.

Description

Brandt is currently seeking a Parts Person for our Saskatoon Construction and Forestry location. The Parts Person is responsible for aiding customers in finding necessary parts, offering pricing information, and processing online parts orders. The position entails executing parts inventory duties that bolster our Parts Business by supporting warehouse operations. This role reports to the Parts Manager, working collaboratively to deliver optimal outcomes for customers.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Problem solving Unloading, receiving, and storing incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and yard
• Locate parts and other materials, and ship to customers and other branches
• Provide assistance to branch service technicians as required
• Place inventory stock orders
• Make inventory and bin adjustments
• Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems
• Other duties as required

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong problem solving skills
• Proficiency in operating a personal computer and utilizing software such as Excel to input and manage data effectively
• Previous experience in the parts industry preferred
• Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills Journeyperson
