Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies in Calgary is seeking a Parts Person for our Construction and Forestry location. You will maintain inventory accuracy, manage parts stock, procure parts timely, and provide high-quality customer service while assisting customers and supporting the parts sales team.

You will unload, receive, store parts, locate items, ship to customers and branches, and help branch technicians. The role requires strong computer skills, Excel, and a practical understanding of warehousing.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to meet physical demands of parts warehousing.
  • Strong customer service and ability to build lasting partnerships.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a PC proficient user.
  • Experience in parts industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Unload, receive, and store parts and other materials in the warehouse and yard.
  • Locate parts and materials, and ship to customers and other branches.
  • Assist branch service technicians as required.
  • Place inventory stock orders.
  • Make inventory and bin adjustments.
  • Document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information; use warehousing equipment and computer systems.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Brandt is currently seeking a Parts Person for our Calgary Construction and Forestry location. The Parts Person will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, managing parts inventory, ensuring timely procurement of necessary parts, and providing high-quality customer service. Additionally, the role involves assisting customers, responding to inquiries, and supporting the parts sales team through effective communication and collaboration.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Problem solving Unloading, receiving, and storing incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and yard
  • Locate parts and other materials, and ship to customers and other branches
  • Provide assistance to branch service technicians as required
  • Place inventory stock orders
  • Make inventory and bin adjustments
  • Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems
  • Other duties as required
What We Look For
  • Capable of meeting physical demands of parts/warehousing trade
  • Effective customer service skills and ability to build lasting partnerships with customers both over the phone and in person
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer and utilizing software such as Excel to input and manage data effectively
  • Previous experience in the parts industry preferred
  • Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills Journeyperson
  • Certification is considered an asset
