Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies in Saskatoon is seeking a Parts Person for our Construction and Forestry location. You will assist customers in finding parts, provide pricing information, and process online orders while supporting warehouse operations.

This role reports to the Parts Manager and emphasizes accurate inventory control, teamwork, and delivering excellent service to customers across branches.

Qualifications

  • Experience in parts/warehousing preferred.
  • Proficient with Excel for data input.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Journeyperson status is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Unloading, receiving, and storing incoming parts.
  • Locate parts and ship to customers and branches.
  • Provide assistance to service technicians as required.
  • Place inventory stock orders.
  • Make inventory and bin adjustments.
  • Document and report shipping, receiving, inventory data using warehousing equipment and computer systems.
  • Other duties as required.

Job description

Brandt is currently seeking a Parts Person for our Saskatoon Construction and Forestry location. The Parts Person is responsible for aiding customers in finding necessary parts, offering pricing information, and processing online parts orders. The position entails executing parts inventory duties that bolster our Parts Business by supporting warehouse operations. This role reports to the Parts Manager, working collaboratively to deliver optimal outcomes for customers.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Problem solving Unloading, receiving, and storing incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and yard
  • Locate parts and other materials, and ship to customers and other branches
  • Provide assistance to branch service technicians as required
  • Place inventory stock orders
  • Make inventory and bin adjustments
  • Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems
  • Other duties as required
What We Look For
  • Capable of meeting physical demands of parts/warehousing trade
  • Effective customer service skills and ability to build lasting partnerships with customers both over the phone and in person
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer and utilizing software such as Excel to input and manage data effectively
  • Previous experience in the parts industry preferred
  • Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills Journeyperson
  • Certification is considered an asset
