Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a Parts Person at our Edmonton Construction and Forestry location. You will assist customers in finding parts, provide pricing information, and process online orders while supporting warehouse operations under the Parts Manager.

You should bring strong customer service and problem solving skills, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and have familiarity with Excel and data entry. Prior parts industry experience is preferred.

Brandt is currently seeking a Parts Person for our Edmonton Construction and Forestry location. The Parts Person is responsible for aiding customers in finding necessary parts, offering pricing information, and processing online parts orders. The position entails executing parts inventory duties that bolster our Parts Business by supporting warehouse operations. This role reports to the Parts Manager, working collaboratively to deliver optimal outcomes for customers.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Problem solving Unloading, receiving, and storing incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and yard
• Locate parts and other materials, and ship to customers and other branches
• Provide assistance to branch service technicians as required
• Place inventory stock orders
• Make inventory and bin adjustments
• Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information; Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems
• Other duties as required

What We Look For

• Capable of meeting physical demands of parts/warehousing trade
• Effective customer service skills and ability to build lasting partnerships with customers both over the phone and in person
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong problem solving skills
• Proficiency in operating a personal computer and utilizing software such as Excel to input and manage data effectively
• Previous experience in the parts industry preferred
• Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills Journeyperson
• Certification is considered an asset
