Job summary

Southpoint Ford is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to ensure parts and accessories are stocked, drive profitability, and lead a parts team. The role requires building strong relationships with service and other departments and implementing promotions to meet targets.

The successful candidate will supervise, train staff, and maintain inventory systems while upholding safety and housekeeping standards. A two-year minimum in a parts role and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Retail automotive industry experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working in the parts department.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal and written.
  • Proficient with PBS DMS, ability to operate MS Office.
  • Ability to supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with key business partners and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure parts and accessories are appropriately stocked.
  • Contribute to the dealership’s profitability.
  • Develop and recommend annual sales targets.
  • Monitor stock levels to keep obsolete stock under control.
  • Organize and monitor perpetual/yearly stock.
  • Generate targeted gross profit.
