Job summary

Peterbilt Pacific is seeking a Parts Driver to deliver and pick up parts and equipment for our dealership in Surrey. The role includes safely delivering parts, staging orders, handling returns, and assisting with warehouse tasks while upholding our high service standards.

You will communicate with customers, coordinate deliveries, and support in-branch operations. A valid driver's license with a clean abstract and 1–2 years of driving experience are required.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of driving experience.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong personal organizational skills as they relate to workload, time management and setting priorities.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
  • Pick and stage parts for customer orders
  • Pick up customer returns
  • Communicate and educate customer on our products
  • Daily collection of credit accounts
  • Assist in warehouse duties, stocking shelves and keeping a clean environment
  • Operate company vehicles safely in various weather conditions and urban/rural environments, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
  • Conduct thorough vehicle pre-trip inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards
  • When necessary, utilize handheld dollies, forklifts and pallet jacks to transport parts efficiently and safely
  • Refuel vehicles as needed
  • Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
  • Handle and transport chemicals in accordance with safety regulations and company guidelines
  • Communicate effectively using hands-free devices to coordinate deliveries
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Compensation Rate

  • $17.85- $20.00per hour
  • Pay rate will be determined based on previous experience, relevant certifications and skill level
