Job summary

Peterbilt Pacific is seeking a Parts Driver to deliver and pick up parts and equipment. You will support warehousing tasks, educate customers on products, and ensure safe vehicle operation with proper pre-trip inspections.

The role requires 1–2 years of driving experience, a clean driver’s abstract, and strong communication skills. Benefits and growth opportunities are part of the package in this Surrey-area role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver parts to customers and pick up parts as needed.
• Prepare and stage parts for customer orders and return pickups.
• Educate customers about products and services; assist with warehouse duties.
• Collect payments from credit accounts and help maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely, perform pre-trip inspections.

The Parts Driver is responsible for delivering and picking up parts and equipment for the dealership.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
• Pick and stage parts for customer orders
• Pick up customer returns
• Communicate and educate customer on our products
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Assist in warehouse duties, stocking shelves and keeping a clean environment
• Operate company vehicles safely in various weather conditions and urban/rural environments, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
• Conduct thorough vehicle pre-trip inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards
• When necessary, utilize handheld dollies, forklifts and pallet jacks to transport parts efficiently and safely
• Refuel vehicles as needed
• Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Handle and transport chemicals in accordance with safety regulations and company guidelines
• Communicate effectively using hands-free devices to coordinate deliveries
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of driving experience
• Previous experience in a customer service role
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract required
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Strong personal organizational skills as they relate to workload, time management and setting priorities
• Must be able to lift up 50 lbs
• Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team

Compensation Rate

• $17.85- $20.00per hour
• Pay rate will be determined based on previous experience, relevant certifications and skill level
