Job summary

Rush Truck Centres of Canada, with 22 Ontario locations and nearly 800 employees, is seeking a Parts Counterperson to sell commercial vehicle parts over the counter or by phone.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least six months of OTC sales experience; SAP experience is an asset. We offer competitive pay, benefits, training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Six months’ experience in over-the-counter sales.
• Experience with SAP is an asset.
• Criminal Record Check required.
• Driver's Abstract required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OHSA compliance and adhere to Health and Safety policy.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Keep orderly records of repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.
• Issue credit for parts returned with the original invoice or its number for verification.
• Participate in all training programs that are made available.
• Keep current on new products and product updates.
• Maintain a lost sales tracking program.

With 22 locations in Ontario and almost 800 employees and growing, we are looking for top talent to join our team.

The Parts Counterperson sells commercial vehicle and equipment parts to customers over the counter or by phone.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Keep orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.
• Issue credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
• Participate in all training programs that are made available.
• Keep current on new products and product updates.
• Participate in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Six months’ experience in over-the-counter sales, preferably in a dealership or service setting environment
• Experience with SAP is an asset
• Criminal Record Check
• Driver's Abstract
