Job summary

Capital Automotive Group seeks a Parts Consultant for Derrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat in Canada. You will identify and order the right parts, maintain accurate inventory, and support shipping and receiving in a fast-paced team.

Ideal candidates have OEM parts experience (Stellantis preferred), strong communication skills, and proficiency with CDK or Tekion. A valid driver’s license is required, and employees enjoy benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in an OEM parts department, preferably with Stellantis products.
• Ability to identify and order parts accurately for vehicle repairs.
• Familiarity with CDK and Tekion systems is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

• Provide excellent customer service to identify customer needs and offer appropriate parts.
• Accurately identify and order parts for vehicle repairs with attention to detail.
• Cultivate strong relationships with vendors for timely, correct parts deliveries.
• Use phone, online platforms, and computer systems to place orders efficiently.
• Inspect received parts for quality and accuracy and ensure proper distribution.

Your Roadmap to Success

• Provide excellent customer service to ensure internal and external customer needs are met while providing a memorable customer experience.
• Accurately identify and order parts for vehicle repairs, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure timely and accurate parts deliveries.
• Utilize various channels, including phone, online platforms, and other computer program(s) to place orders efficiently.
• Inspect received parts for quality and accuracy, guaranteeing they meet our standards.
• Ensure timely distribution of parts in alignment with the identified standards.
• Monitor and manage inventory, create purchase orders, and handle invoices with precision.
• Keep our parts department and shop organized, clean, and well-stocked.
• Support shipping and receiving as needed.

Qualifications that Hit the Gas

• Minimum 2 years experience working in a OEM parts department - preference for those who have experience with Stellantis.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to quickly build rapport with diverse internal and external customers.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Self-motivated problem solver.
• Enjoy a fast-paced, team environment.
• Proficient in using technology - specific experience with CDK and Tekion is an asset.
• Ability to lift and move parts up to 50lbs when required.
• Hold a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
