Job summary

Royal Distributing is opening its first Alberta location in Edmonton and seeks Parts Associates with knowledge of powersports vehicles to help customers find the right parts and provide an outstanding shopping experience.

Responsibilities include assisting customers in-store, handling call-ins, merchandising, and upholding safety standards, with shifts spanning days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge of powersports vehicles (snowmobiles, ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles) is a definite asset.
• Experience in a similar role or industry is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service.

The Opportunity

We are excited to be opening our first Alberta location in Edmonton and are seeking Parts Associates to join our team! We are looking for team members with mechanical knowledge of powersports vehicles, including snowmobiles, ATVs, UTVs, and motorcycles, to help customers find the right parts for their machines and provide an outstanding shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Determining customer needs and recommending hard parts for purchase
• Answering customer questions from in-store and call-in customers
• Assisting with merchandising and maintaining visual standards
• Adhering to company safety policy and safety compliance regulations
• Other tasks as assigned by your supervisor/manager

Qualifications

• Parts, powersports, or mechanical knowledge is definite asset
• Prior experience in a similar role or industry is an asset
• Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills

Additional Information

• Starting Rate: $19.55 to 21.00/an hour *depending on powersports knowledge
• This position reports to the Assistant Store Managers and the Store Manager
• This position requires team members to work varying hours, seasonal overtime, and shifts during days, evenings, and weekends
• This position requires team members to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder and to move merchandise (weighing up to 30 pounds) throughout the store
• Steel toe, green patch work boots are required
• This is a vacant open position.
