AutoCanada's Dodge City in Saskatoon, SK is seeking a Parts Advisor for the Back Counter role. In a fast-paced dealership, you will source parts for technicians and customers, generate quotes, and process parts requests to support service work orders.

Responsibilities include stocking, inventory control, and ensuring accurate parts delivery to customers or service teams. The role requires familiarity with dealership operations and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive dealership or parts department.
• Completion of related post-secondary program or training is an asset.
• CDK familiarity is considered an asset.
• General understanding of parts and service operations and inventory management.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Your area of focus.

Working in a fast‑paced dealership environment you will look up and provide parts for internal and external customers.

What drives your day‑to‑day?

• Research and source parts for technicians/internals
• Issue parts price quotes
• Sell parts to customer or service work orders
• Complete special‑order parts requests that need to be ordered by the customer
• Communicate with the customer on the status of any parts ordered and notify them upon delivery to the dealership
• Pick‑up parts for customers or technicians as required
• Restock shelves and put warranty parts into appropriate bins
• Keep work area and displays clean
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as required

What Are The Must‑haves…

• Some familiarity and/or experience with working in an automotive dealership and/or Parts Department
• Completion of a related post‑secondary program and or training courses is considered an asset
• Experience with CDK is considered an asset
• A general understanding of Parts & Service operations and inventory management
• A well‑defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• A person of professionalism and high integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honors their commitments
• Detail oriented, self‑motivated and resourceful
• High‑level skills in Word, Excel and MS Office etc.
• Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time
• Must possess a valid Ontario driver’s license and have a safe driving history
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Compensation

The expected range of compensation for this position is $45,000 – $51,000 Salary — Plus bonus. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors, including job‑related knowledge, education, skills and experience. This position will also be eligible to participate in the Company's annual cash bonus program, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents.
