Job summary

Dodge City in AutoCanada’s Canadian network is looking for a detail and lot attendant. You will transport customers and dealership staff, and perform interior/exterior cleaning of vehicles in inventory to ensure a thorough, customer-ready finish.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and the ability to drive automatic and manual transmissions. The role offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities to grow within the team.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Perform interior and exterior vehicle cleaning and detailing.
• Assist with service and sales department duties.
• Park and organize vehicles for sale and service.
• Remove protective coverings and ID tags before delivery.
• Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, or damage and report issues.
• Help with shop cleanup and deliveries as needed.
• Seasonal exterior cleaning (e.g., snow removal).
• Identify lot merchandising needs and place signage.
• Monitor daily progress of vehicles in reconditioning.

Your area of focus.

In this position, you will be responsible for transporting customers as needed, cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles in inventory. Success in this role will require someone who has the physical capabilities to effectively maneuver around, under, and inside the vehicle to ensure a thorough and satisfactory detail has been completed.

What drives your day-to-day?

• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Service and Sales Department duties
• Daily Organization and parking of vehicles for saleand service department
• Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer
• Inspect vehicles for stains,debrisand damages before returning the vehicle to the customer, and report any damageimmediately
• Assistwith shop clean-up and deliveries when needed
• Cleaning off vehicle exteriors based on seasonal needs (i.e.snow removal)
• Identifyany lot merchandising needs or issues to theappropriate manager
• Placing signage in and on vehiclesfor advertising purposes
• Monitoring and organizing vehicles daily based on their progress in the reconditioning process

What are the must-haves…

• High school diploma or GED
• Interest in automotive industry, and knowledgeable about vehicles
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Experience working with cleaning products and cleaning tools including power washers is an asset
• Must be dependable, reliable,possessa strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively

Compensation

The expected range of compensation for this position is $18 - $20 Hourly - No bonus. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, education, skills and experience.
