Job summary

Marino’s Automotive Group in Etobicoke is seeking a Parts Consultant at Jaguar Land Rover Metro West to join the parts team. You will assist customers in identifying and ordering parts and maintain inventory accuracy.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a drive to learn. You will handle calls, provide price quotes, and support technicians to keep repairs moving smoothly while adhering to dealership guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience with PBS DMS is a bonus.
• Strong communication and detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Help customers select parts and provide high-quality service to retail and shop customers.
• Answer calls, provide price quotes, and share information as needed.
• Take orders for parts by phone and various counters and accounts.
• Receive payments from retail customers.
• Address customer concerns per dealership guidelines.
• Stock and organize parts, manage inventory accuracy and safety.

Are you ready to take the first step towards an exciting career in the automotive industry with a dealership committed to your success? Marino’s Automotive Group is looking for a Parts Consultant at Jaguar Land Rover Metro West in Etobicoke!

As a Parts Consultant , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the parts department. You will be responsible for assisting customers in identifying and ordering the right automotive parts and accessories for their vehicles. Additionally, you will need to maintain accurate inventory records, manage stock levels, and collaborate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient repairs.

Key responsibilities:

• Efficiently help customers select parts and provide internal and external customers (retail and shop) with high quality service
• Answer telephone calls, provide price quotes any other information needed
• Take orders for parts by telephone, technician counter, retail counter and wholesale accounts
• Receive payments from retail customers
• Handle customer concerns immediately and according to the dealerships guidelines.
• Stock items by unpacking, arranging, and placing items in bins and on shelves; adjusting inventory system and assuring all safety risks
• Other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of Automotive Parts experience
• No previous experience necessary.
• Experience using a DMS - PBS in particular is an asset
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude
• Strong verbal communication and writing skills
• Organized with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow set and standard procedures
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
• Flexible and open to change; take on special tasks as needed
• Ability to work independently and take self-initiative
• Basic computer skills and a comfort with learning new software and systems
• Must have a full driver's licence and clean drivers abstract
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and technical/mechanical repairs
• Working in Parts Department

Compensation:

• Compensation range: $40,000-60,000 per year
• The range may vary based on experience and qualifications.

This compensation encompasses hourly pay, non-discretionary performance bonuses, and vacation pay as required under Ontario Regulation 476/24 made under the Employment Standards Act, 2000.
