Job summary

Bobcat of Brantford is seeking a Parts Advisor to deliver exceptional parts support and sales-driven service to customers in person, by phone, and email. You will recommend maintenance solutions, prepare quotes, and process orders while building lasting relationships with equipment owners across the region.

The role combines customer service with a sales mindset, collaborating with Parts, Service, Rental, and Sales teams to grow the parts and service business and improve uptime for customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person, over the phone, and by email with parts inquiries and equipment support needs.
• Identify customer requirements and recommend the appropriate parts, accessories, attachments, and maintenance solutions.
• Prepare accurate quotes and process customer orders efficiently.
• Clearly communicate pricing, availability, lead times, and order status updates.
• Develop strong customer relationships through professional, responsive service.
• Educate customers on preventative maintenance programs, service intervals, and equipment care best practices.
• Execute outbound customer call campaigns to promote service programs, seasonal maintenance offers, inspections, and parts specials.
• Reconnect with inactive customers and identify opportunities to earn additional business.
• Follow up on quotes, open opportunities, backorders, and service recommendations.
• Support customer retention initiatives and equipment lifecycle planning discussions.
• Work closely with Sales and Service teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Contribute to dealership growth by promoting aftermarket products, maintenance packages, and value-added solutions.

Bobcat of Brantford is looking for an energetic, customer-focused Parts Advisor to support our growing customer base. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role responsible for helping customers maximize equipment uptime through expert parts support, maintenance recommendations, and proactive outreach. The successful candidate will combine strong customer service skills with a sales mindset, building relationships with equipment owners, contractors, municipalities, and businesses throughout our region. You'll work closely with our Parts, Service, Rental, and Sales teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience while contributing to the growth of our parts and service business.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in person, over the phone, and by email with parts inquiries and equipment support needs.

Business Development & Outbound Customer Engagement

Parts Operations & Inventory Support

• Source and fulfill parts orders for retail, wholesale, and internal service customers.
• Receive, verify, stock, and organize incoming inventory.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory control procedures.
• Process returns, warranty parts, and vendor credits.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with technicians, service advisors, rental personnel, and sales representatives to support customer needs.
• Participate in dealership promotions, customer appreciation events, trade shows, and community initiatives.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on customer success and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Technically curious with a willingness to learn equipment applications and product lines.
• Valid G-Class driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
