Job summary

Bobcat of Hamilton is seeking a Service Advisor to serve as the primary link between customers and our service team. You will manage inquiries, schedule repairs, and clearly communicate progress to deliver an exceptional service experience from start to finish.

This full-time, on-site role requires 1–3 years in customer service or service advisory, with a focus on organization, multitasking, and a positive, team-oriented approach. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of customer service or service advisor experience.
  • Experience in equipment, construction, agricultural, automotive or heavy equipment is an asset.
  • Knowledge of construction or landscaping equipment is an asset.
  • Valid driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Minimum OSSD or equivalent; post-secondary education or technical certification is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate repair timelines with technicians.
  • Communicate repair progress, recommendations, and updates with customers.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to emails, phone inquiries, and customer messages.
  • Explain technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Check equipment in and out of the dealership.
  • Open, update, and close work orders while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain accurate customer and service records.
  • Work closely with the Service Manager, Shop Foreman, and technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
