Job summary

Brandt is seeking an Outside Parts & Service Representative in Calgary to promote and sell Construction and Forestry parts and service. This role includes after-sales support for new and existing customers and requires travel within the territory.

You will develop and maintain strong customer relationships, implement yearly plans, and help increase profitability for the Parts and Service departments. The position calls for 2–3 years of sales experience, a valid driver's license, and strong

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of sales experience in a similar role or in a Parts/Service Department.
• Journeyman ticket/Red Seal in Parts or Service is considered an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Brandt is currently seeking anOutside Parts & Service Representative for ourCalgary Construction and Forestry location.

This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting and selling Construction and Forestry parts and service, as well as providing after sales support to new and existing customers.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customerswith the goalofincreasing sales and customer satisfaction
• Assist the Parts & Service departments to increase profitability and performance
• Regularly prospect and cold call new accounts to discuss new promotions and programs
• Implement yearly territory plan including a customer target list to maximize sales potential
• Visit customers in Area of Responsibility (AOR); a minimum of 1 visit per month
• Keep customers current on new products and services
• Develop prospective customers with a goal of 2 per month
• Follow-up with customers on unit and machine performance
• Maintain and utilize the database records related to each customer including sales meetings, opportunities, quotes, notes, and any other documentation as required
• Work cooperatively with management to meet and maximize budget goals and expand customer base by presenting and implementing new marketing strategies
• Gather competitive product and pricing information and supply to management
• Participate in all required training and development opportunities
• Follow up on customer concerns and communicate effectively to the appropriate Management Team
• Maintain cleanliness, scheduled maintenance, and inventory for the company vehicle
• Other duties as assigned

What We Look For

• 2 - 3 years previous of sales experience in a similar role, or in a Parts or Service Department
• Journeyman ticket/Red Seal in Parts or Service is considered an asset
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract will be required
• Exemplary customer service skills

• Knowledge of Construction and Forestry parts, operations, and industry
