Job summary

Cineplex in Gatineau is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager to help lead the theatre team and ensure a great guest experience.

You will supervise staff, manage guest satisfaction, assist with budgeting and revenue growth, and drive initiatives to boost nighttime attendance. This role favors those with prior hospitality or retail management experience, strong conflict resolution, and scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar environment.
• Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate options and resolutions.
• Proven ability to lead a team during high-volume periods.
• Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a dedicated team; step in to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Manage the guest experience to ensure satisfaction and encourage return visits.
• Assist with managing theatre budget and growing revenue.
• Forecast and initiate projects to drive business forward and strengthen Cineplex Entertainment as Canada’s premier film exhibitor.
