Job summary

Cineplex Entertainment LP. is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager/Cast Member in Ottawa, Ontario. The role involves leading a team, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, and helping manage budgets to grow revenue.

The position offers flexible hours and a start at CAD 19.95 per hour. The successful candidate will have prior experience in a similar setting, strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills, and the ability to work across multiple departments during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar environment.
• Ability to analyze and interpret customer needs and offer options/solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team during high volume periods across multiple departments.
• Strong conflict resolution, negotiation and objection handling skills.
• Schedule flexibility to work extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leading and managing a dedicated team of employees and actively contribute to guest satisfaction.
• Manage the guest experience to ensure every visitor is satisfied and eager to return.
• Assist with managing the theatre’s budget and driving revenue growth.
• Forecast and initiate actions/projects to drive the business forward and strengthen Cineplex Entertainment as Canada’s #1 premier film exhibition company.
