Town of Ajax Recreation & Culture is seeking a Security - Community Schools staff to open and close the Community School for permit holders, assist with program setups, and ensure patrons follow facility rules. You will perform light housekeeping, handle emergencies, and coordinate with staff while maintaining safety and a respectful environment.
This is a part-time evening/weekend role with non-union status. Must have Grade 12, First Aid/CPR C, AED, and be able to pass a background check.

Reporting to the Facility Supervisor, the Security - Community Schools staff are responsible for the opening and closing of the Community School for permit holders, assisting department staff/permit holders in setting up their programs, ensuring that all patrons are following the rules of the facility, and light housekeeping duties.
Compensation: We offer competitive pay that reflects the responsibilities of the position.
This is a non‑union position that works evening and weekend shifts, and the successful candidate must be available to work up to 24 hours per week.
