Job summary

Kin's Farm Market is hiring a Sales Associate for our Vancouver - Denman location. You will greet customers, answer questions, operate the checkout, and keep displays well stocked with fresh products.

Focus on delivering friendly service, sharing product knowledge, and promoting specials. This role emphasizes teamwork and consistent store presentation in a busy urban market.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills are required.
• Ability to memorize PLU codes is essential.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs periodically throughout the day.
• Food Safe training is an asset.
• First Aid training is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store image according to Kin's policies.
• Greet customers and create a friendly shopping atmosphere.
• Provide product information and answer inquiries.
• Operate cash registers and POS equipment.
• Keep displays stocked and shelves full with quality products.
• Promote products and specials through sampling or demonstrations.
• Resolve customer complaints and handle shortages.
• Receive, unload and count products per procedures.

As a Sales Associate,your responsibilities are:

• Maintaining the company andstore image according to Kin's policies and procedures;
• Greeting customers and creatinga friendly shopping atmosphere;
• Providing information tocustomers and answering their questions and inquiries about products,procedures or policies;
• Operating cash registers, pointof sale equipment and other equipment for processing transactions;
• Ensuring displays are full atall times and shelves are stocked with good quality products in allsections;
• Promoting products, such asseasonal items or specials, by performing product promotions to customersthrough sampling (and cooking demonstration, if required) and closes thesale;
• Resolving problems that mayarise such as customer complaints and supply shortages;
• Receiving, unloading andunpacking products and counting, weighing and sorting them according tocompany receiving procedures.
