Job summary

The Beer Store in Stayner, Ontario is hiring part-time retail staff to join our team at 7380 Hwy. 26. We're looking for energetic, customer-focused individuals who share our passion for service and beer.

You will stock shelves, unload deliveries, assist customers, handle payments, follow health and safety rules and wear PPE. Candidates must be 18+, have at least one year of retail experience, and be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 1 year of consecutive retail experience.
• Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, unload deliveries, maintain store cleanliness.
• Serve customers daily and process payments.
• Follow health and safety procedures and use PPE.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The Role

We currently have vacancies for Part-Time Retail Staff for our Stayner, Ontario store. We are looking for employees who are energetic, enthusiastic and share our passion and commitment to satisfying our customers.

A Retail Location at 7380 Hwy. #26, Stayner, ON, L0M 1S0

What You'll Be Doing

• Stocking shelves, unloading delivery trucks, maintaining store cleanliness
• In this unionized role, you will be required to serve customers daily and process payment transactions
• You are expected to follow all health and safety procedures and must use all PPE provided
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

• Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred

Experience

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have minimum 1 year's consecutive retail experience

Skills

• Must be able to comfortably lift up to 40lbs (over 18kg) for more then 100 ft (30 metres) for continuous periods of time
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 2 or more hours during a shift
• Able to perform basic computer functions
• Must be available to work weekends

Compensation

Wages starting at $17.95 and subject to wage increases based on hours worked according to the terms outlined in the Collective Agreement.
