Job summary

The Beer Store in Fonthill, Ontario is hiring part-time retail staff to join our team at the 20 Hwy. #20 E. location. You will assist customers, stock shelves, process payments, and help maintain store cleanliness, all while upholding health and safety procedures.

We value energetic, reliable individuals who are available on weekends and can lift up to 40lbs. Starting wage is $17.95 per hour, with wage increases according to the collective agreement.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Minimum 1 year of consecutive retail experience

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and unload delivery trucks
• Serve customers daily and process payment transactions
• Follow health and safety procedures and use PPE
• Perform other related duties as assigned

The Role

We currently have vacancies for Part-Time Retail Staff for our Fonthill, Ontario store. We are looking for employees who are energetic, enthusiastic and share our passion and commitment to satisfying our customers.

A Retail Location at 20 Hwy. #20 E., Fonthill, ON, L0S 1E0

What You'll Be Doing

• Stocking shelves, unloading delivery trucks, maintaining store cleanliness
• In this unionized role, you will be required to serve customers daily and process payment transactions
• You are expected to follow all health and safety procedures and must use all PPE provided
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

• Completion of High School and/or GED equivalent preferred

Experience

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have minimum 1 year's consecutive retail experience

Skills

• Must be able to comfortably lift up to 40lbs (over 18kg) for more then 100 ft (30 metres) for continuous periods of time
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 2 or more hours during a shift
• Able to perform basic computer functions
• Must be available to work weekends

Compensation

Wages starting at $17.95 and subject to wage increases based on hours worked according to the terms outlined in the Collective Agreement.
