Job summary

Advantage Solutions is hiring a Retail Sales Merchandiser to work with store management to boost retail sales and execute client merchandising. You will engage customers, educate them on products, and build displays at major retailers.

Ideal candidates are independent, ambitious, and capable of handling a busy field schedule across a regional territory with reliable transportation. Weekdays 8am–5pm, part or full-time hours likely.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain shelves at major retailers and ensure planogram compliance and correct pricing.
• Physical: stand for long periods and lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ensure product freshness and process returns of unsaleable items.
• Increase sales volume by selling and building displays.
• Support speed to market and distribution on new product releases.
• Suggest orders and selling programs to retailers.
• Prepare reports, recaps, timesheets and expense documents on time.

We are hiring a Retail Sales Merchandiser who can work effectively with store management to increase retail sales and execute client-driven merchandising that exceed the client's expectations. The Retail Sales Merchandiser drives sales and brand awareness for our client's products at major retail locations in an outgoing, friendly manner. You will provide best in class customer service by engaging and educating the customers on their next purchase of some of the leading brands in retail.If you are someone who is independent, ambitious, and driven to succeed then this position is an excellent fit for you.

Things To Consider:

• This role involves representing our client, Ferrero Canada
• You will be part of a regional team and be assigned a territory servicing multiple locations; access to reliable transportation within your territory is critical
• Candidate needs to be available Monday - Friday roughly from 8am-5pm (part time or full time hours)

What You'll Do:

• Maintaining shelves at major retailers and ensuring Planogram compliance and correct pricing
• Physical Requirements: standing/being on feet for up to 8h and being able to lift up to 50+lbs
• Ensuring product freshness and processing returns of all unsaleable product
• Increase sales volume by selling and building displays
• Driving speed to market and distribution on new product releases
• Suggesting orders and selling programs to retailers
• Prepare accurate and timely reports, recaps, timesheets, expense reports, etc.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GEDor equivalent experience
• Bachelor's Degreeor 2 years of experience in retail, client, or food broker preferred
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Basic computer skills; Word, Excel, and Internet usage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
