Job summary

Connecting-Care- in Alberta is hiring a part-time Hospitality Aide to support daily living of residents in a senior living community. You will assist with meal service, housekeeping, and resident engagement to create a welcoming, home-like atmosphere.

The role emphasizes compassion, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and hygiene standards. Prior food safety certification is required; CPR/First Aid is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal service by setting up, serving, and cleaning dining areas.
• Prepare and provide texture modified meals and dietary accommodations.
• Support mealtime service to residents with a warm, inviting dining experience.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment daily.
• Maintain environmental public health and provincial standards.
• Participate in community committees and working groups.
• Maintain dining and common area cleanliness; assist with resident rooms as needed.
• Provide non-clinical support to residents, helping with mobility and activity participation.
• Engage residents to build relationships and encourage socialization.
• Follow safety and hygiene standards and policies.
• Collaborate with staff to report needs and advocate for resident preferences.
• Use PPE properly as required.
