Discovery Co-operative is seeking a part-time Project Service Clerk I in our Lumber Department at our Home Centre in North Battleford, SK. You will provide safe, courteous, efficient service to customers and support in receiving, stocking and processing orders.

The ideal candidate is at least 18, has basic math/reading skills, and is available for days, evenings, and weekends. Knowledge of lumber products is a plus; a Class 5 driver’s license is required.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Possess and maintain a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Knowledge of lumber and construction products would be an asset.
• Available for days, evenings and weekends.
• Honest and trustworthy; results-oriented.

• A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe, courteous, efficient and customer-focused service in the Lumber Department.
• Merchandise and receive merchandise as directed by the manager or designate.
• Operate and maintain equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
• Place stock and special orders for product.
• Maintain safety standards of the department.
• Be dependable for all scheduled shifts.
• Ensure outstanding courteous customer service at all times.
• Familiarize with and adhere to Discovery Co-op Policies and Procedures.
• Live the Co-op brand every day.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do

Who you are

You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Basic math and reading skills
• Possess and maintain a valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Knowledge of lumber and products associated with construction would be an asset
• You must be available for days, evenings and weekends
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
