Job summary

FYidoctors Edmonton Clinic on Calgary Trail is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to deliver exceptional service to our patients in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. This casual role offers 0–19 hours per week, with clinic hours Monday to Saturday and a focus on welcoming patients, check-in/out, and smooth front-desk operations.

Youll perform pre-testing, coordinate appointments, manage prints and billing, assist with eyewear pickups and minor repairs, and strive to ensure a positive

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
• A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required
