FYidoctors is seeking a Patient Services Specialist for our Edmonton Calgary Trail clinic. You will greet patients, assist with check-in/out, and ensure a smooth patient experience in a fast-paced setting.

The role involves pre-testing support, appointment coordination, billing, and eyewear handling, with a strong emphasis on service excellence and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is a plus and can help in patient interactions.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and computers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient care.

Responsibilities

Our FYidoctors - Edmonton - Calgary Trail clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy!

In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

This position is a casualrole working 0-19 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Saturday.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required

What You Bring

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences
• A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively
