Job summary

Stantec in Prince George, BC is seeking a part-time Office Coordinator to support the Transportation Infrastructure team. The role involves coordinating day-to-day office operations, onboarding, facilities management, and HSSE program support for a 20–25 hour weekly schedule.

You will collaborate with team leads, HR, and vendors to maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming office environment while delivering high-quality service to project teams and clients.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily office operations, reception services, facilities, office access, equipment, supplies, mail, and vendor coordination to ensure the efficient functioning of the office.
• Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, office communications, records management, invoice processing, and act as a liaison between employees, office leadership, Human Resources, and building management.
• Lead office support initiatives, employee engagement activities, and continuous improvement efforts that enhance operational excellence and the employee experience.
• Coordinate and support the implementation of HSSE program at the office level by promoting a strong safety culture, supporting compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements, coordinating training and inspections, and supporting incident management and corrective actions.
• Attend monthly Office, Safety, and Environment Committee meetings and participate in HSSE-related meetings as required.
• Prepare the office for internal, external, ISO, and COR audits.
• Support office environmental stewardship initiatives by monitoring and reporting office environmental performance.
