Job summary

Homewood Health is actively seeking registered mental health professionals to provide in-person, contract EFAP services in Yukon. This role is onsite and involves occasional engagements within the Stay at Work Services and EFAP programs.

You will deliver short-term, focused counselling to adults, couples, families and children, adhering to professional standards and collaborating with the clinical team. Proficiency in English or French is required, with other languages an asset.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a counselling field or Bachelor of Social Work with registration and counselling experience.
• Registration/clinical membership with a regulatory college in your province.
• 3 years of counselling, social services, or addiction service experience.
• EFAP experience is an asset.
• Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000.
• Proficiency to provide counselling in English or French; other languages a strong asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term, highly focused, solution-oriented counselling to address concerns.
• Able to work with adult individuals, couples, families and children.
• Adhere to professional standards and best practices.
• Engage in clinical consultation with the clinical management team as required.
