Job summary

Homewood Health is seeking a Solution Focused Brief Therapy Counsellor on a part-time, contract basis in Corner Brook, NL. The role offers flexible engagement with EFAP and Stay at Work Services, providing short-term, focused counseling to adults, couples, families and children in the client’s own office.

You’ll collaborate with clinical management, adhere to professional standards, and bring strong English counselling proficiency with MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a counselling-related field or Bachelor of Social Work with registration and counselling experience.
• Registration/clinical membership with a regulatory college or body in your province of practice.
• 3 years experience in counselling, social services, or addiction service settings.
• Experience in EFAP is an asset.
• Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as determined by Homewood Health
• Proficiency to provide counselling services in English is required
• Counselling proficiency in additional languages is a strong asset
• Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
