Job summary

Homewood Health Centre actively seeks registered mental health professionals to provide services on an occasional, contract basis for Stay at Work Services and EFAP within Saskatchewan. Responsibilities include short-term, solution-focused counselling for adults, couples, families and children, adherence to professional standards, and clinical consultations with the management team as required.

Fluency in English or French is required, with additional languages seen as a strong asset.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counselling or a related field and/or Bachelor of Social Work with appropriate registration and counselling experience.
• Registration/clinical membership with a regulatory college or body in your province of practice.
• 3 years of counselling, social services, or addiction service settings experience.
• EFAP field experience is an asset.
• Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as determined by Homewood Health.
• Proficiency to provide counselling in English or French; additional languages are an asset.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term, highly focused, solution-oriented counselling to address concerns such as depression, anxiety, interpersonal skills, workplace challenges, relationships, stress management and addictions.
• Able to work with adult individuals, couples, families and children.
• Adhere to professional standards and best practices.
• Engage in clinical consultation with the clinical management team as required.
