Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Regular part-time Driver (Material Handler) to join our Logistics team in MB-Winnipeg-William Ave. The role supports the safe transportation of personnel, blood products and supplies and helps set up booths and equipment for mobile donor events.

Shifts vary 8–11 hours and may include days, evenings, weekends and holidays. You will travel within Manitoba; a Manitoba Class 4 license and a clean abstract are required, along with 24 months of driving experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a Manitoba class 4 drivers license and a clean commercial drivers abstract from within the last 30 days.
• Minimum 24 months verifiable professional driving experience as a commercial vehicle driver, within the last 3 years.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and programs.
• A willingness to learn procedures in a regulatory environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English. A second language is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up booths, tables, and other equipment for mobile donor events and transport people and products.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and complete required documentation.
• Greet and help donors book or rebook appointments as required.
• Set up systems and Wi-Fi connections for mobile events and learn new programs.
• Load and unload equipment and supplies at donor centre sites and upon return to centre.
