Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler I in Winnipeg, MB to perform general warehouse duties, operate a forklift, and support packing systems.

The role reports to the Logistics Supervisor and involves loading, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting with attention to accuracy and safety. The position offers full-time hours with a night shift schedule Sunday to Tuesday and Wednesday overnight, accompanied by a benefits package and retirement plans after eligibility.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping and receiving.
• Operate forklift; assist with cycle counting and staging of products.
• Maintain accuracy in paperwork (picking sheets, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical support for automated packing system during core shift hours.
