Job summary

Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Temporary part-time Driver to join the Supply Chain Operations East team. You will transport blood products and personnel, assist mobile donor events, and help setup booths and equipment at donor sites.

The role requires a valid Ontario driver's license, a clean abstract, 24 months of driving experience, basic computer skills, and strong English communication. Shifts include days, evenings, weekends; training and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Ontario class A, B, D or F driver’s license with a clean abstract in the last 30 days.
• Minimum 24 months professional driving experience as a commercial driver, within the last 3 years.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and programs.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; a second language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Drive and transport blood products and personnel, ensuring safety and proper temperature.
• Assist mobile donor events by setting up booths, tables and equipment.
• Greet donors and help book or rebook appointments as required.
• Set up systems and Wi‑Fi connections for mobile events and learn new programs.
• Load and unload equipment at donor centres and mobile sites, collaborating with staff.
