Job summary

Canadian Blood Services is seeking a Regular part-time Driver (Material Handler) to join our Logistics team in SK-Regina-Stanley Dethridge Bay. You will support safe transport of people and products, assist at mobile donor events, and help set up equipment and stations for donor activities.

The role requires a high school diploma, a Saskatchewan Class 4 license (or equivalent with recent clean abstract), and at least 24 months of professional driving experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 4 drivers license or equivalent with knowledge test and a clean abstract within 30 days.
• Minimum 24 months verifiable driving experience as a commercial driver within the last 3 years.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Willingness to learn procedures in a regulatory environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; second language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Transport blood and blood products safely, ensuring correct temperatures and safe conditions.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and complete required documentation accurately on every trip.
• Assist the collections team by greeting and helping donors book or rebook appointments as required.
• Set up systems and Wi-Fi connections for mobile events and learn new programs as needed.
• Help load/unload equipment and supplies and assist with setting up/dismantling at donor centres and mobile events.
