WRHN is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (USWA) to help maintain a safe environment across WRHN Midtown & Chicopee locations. The role involves 24/7 vigilance, access control, and prompt response to codes to protect patients, staff and visitors.

Candidates should have Grade 12, a valid Ontario Security Guard License, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to work shifts and stand for long periods. Excellent attendance, communication skills, and some mechanical aptitude are essential.

Competenze

• Grade 12 education or equivalent.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License required.
• 2-year Law and Security course or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Ability to communicate with the general public and other Hospital staff and external emergency personnel
• Good oral and written skills
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
• Must have CPR and First Aid Certificate
• Ability to make decisions in an emergency or stressful situations
• Must be able to prioritize workload
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent computer skills
• Some mechanical abilities
• Excellent attendance record

• Provide 24-hour security coverage of the hospital.
• Immediate response to all Hospital Emergency Codes.
• Asset protection and maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff, physicians, and volunteers.
• Access control and issuing parking infraction notices.
• Assist clinical staff with patient care as required.
