Cogir Senior Living in Ottawa, Ontario, is seeking a dedicated Janitor/Receptionist to manage front desk duties, greet residents and visitors, answer inquiries, and perform cleaning and basic administrative tasks. The role requires strong English communication, multitasking, and a proactive approach to safety and resident comfort.

You will report to the Maintenance Manager and contribute to a clean, organized environment while assisting with mail handling, room bookings, and emergency response

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience in reception or front desk is an asset.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safe work practices.

Responsabilités

• Manage front desk in courteous, efficient manner.
• Answer calls and direct inquiries professionally.
• Greet and direct visitors.
• Perform administrative and light accounting duties.
• Handle mail and packages; arrange courier pickups.
• Schedule meeting rooms and update distribution lists.
• Provide evening security and emergency response when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception area and report maintenance needs.
