We teach students HOW to learn French and improve their academic and study skills in small groups. Our class sizes are small, with a maximum of three students per teacher. All curriculum and lessons are provided; teachers do not need to lesson plan. Teachers guide students through the material and facilitate discussions about their understanding.
All Teacher-Tutors at Oxford Learning work during after-school and evening hours (3:00 pm - 8:00 pm) and some Saturdays (9:00 am - 5:00 pm). Reliability is essential. Candidates must have a strong background in spoken and written French and English, comfortable teaching up to Grade 9, with Grade 12 preferred. Instruction is in French. This role is in-person; commuting to the location is required. Relocation packages are not available. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.
Help students develop confidence and self-esteem, with rewards including smiles, high-fives, fun staff events, ongoing training, feedback, growth opportunities, and skill development.
