Job summary

Edmonton-Region-Child-Care-Association's Elm program is seeking a part-time level 2/3 educator to work in a mixed-age classroom with children 16 months to 4 years. Elm is slated to open mid-October, with a 7:00 am–10:00 am shift to start.

Minimum qualifications include Alberta Level 2/3 ECE certification in good standing, valid First Aid, and a Vulnerable Sector police check issued in the last 6 months. We offer competitive wages, an Employee Assistance Program, paid sick and float time, and

Qualifications

• Alberta Level 2/3 ECE certification in good standing.
• Valid First Aid certification.
• Recent Police Information Check (Vulnerable Sector) issued within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver programming in a mixed-age classroom (16 months–4 years).
• Plan and document observations, planning, and activities.
• Communicate with families about activities and expectations.
• Share program needs with staff and align with ERCCA guidelines.
• Follow ERCCA ethics, policies, and engage with pedagogical team.
