Leon’s Furniture Limited is hiring a part-time dockhand to support loading and unloading vessels, securing boats to docks, and keeping the dock area clean and safe. The role requires physical stamina and teamwork in a maritime setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors and lift heavy objects.
• Basic maritime safety knowledge and dock operations.
• Authorized to work in Canada with valid documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in mooring and unmooring vessels safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload cargo from boats and docks.
• Operate dockside equipment under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the dock area.
• Communicate with vessel operators to coordinate activities.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
