Job summary

Karis Disability Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist people with developmental disabilities at a Group Living location in Saskatoon. The role is part-time, 21 hours per week, with shifts Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00am to 3:00pm, and requires a Saskatchewan Full Class 5 or Novice 2 driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for local travel.

• A valid Sask. Full Class 5 or Sask. Novice 2 driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
• Preferred: 3–6 months experience (volunteer or employment).
• Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or related education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and promote independence.
• Collaborate with families, advocates, friends and community partners.
• Help foster citizenship and strengthen relationships for people supported.

Requirements:
