Karis Disability Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help individuals with developmental disabilities participate in daily activities and build community connections. You will work collaboratively with families, advocates, and community partners to promote self-determination and meaningful relationships.

Formación

• Valid Sask. Full Class 5 or Sask. Novice 2 Driver's license.
• Satisfactory Driver's Abstract.
• Preferred: 3–6 months experience (volunteer or employment).
• Preferred: Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or related post-secondary education.

Direct Support Professional employees build communities that value the contributions of people who experience developmental disabilities. They assist with activities of daily living, working collaboratively with families, advocates, friends, and community partners in order to promote full citizenship and enhance relationships. Requirements:

• A valid Sask. Full Class 5 or Sask. Novice 2 Driver's license and access to reliable transportation
• Satisfactory Driver's Abstract

Preferred:

• 3-6 Months Experience (volunteer or employment)
• Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field
