Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Part-Time Overnight Customer Service Security Guard for a campus location in Toronto, ON. You will engage with students, faculty, and the public, ensuring safe access and courteous service.

The role requires security credentials, first aid certification, and strong communication skills. Uniforms are provided, and on-site training through GardaWorld Academy is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Must hold a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Must have WSIB Approved First Aid & CPR Level C Certification.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a customer service or concierge role.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify ID, and provide directions.
• Control building access.
• Conduct foot patrols to identify risks.
• Check security equipment and report issues.
• Complete computer-based monitoring and reports.
• Respond to incidents and provide first aid.
• Write incident reports and communicate concerns.
• Answer questions in person and by phone.
